Accra, Dec 1, GNA – The 39th Farmers’ Day came off in Tarkwa, Western Region, on Friday December 1, 2023, where Madam Charity Akortia was adjudged the 2023 Overall National Best Farmer.
Farmers’ Day falls on the first Friday in December each year, when the Ministry of Food and Agriculture honours deserving farmers and fishers with special awards based on their adoption of modern agricultural practices and output.
