All set for voting in NPP WR elections

llembelle (WR), May 28, GNA- All is set for the commencement of the Western region New Patriotic Party’s Executive position elections.

The Electoral Commission has already finished with ground work and other formalities.

Meanwhile, aspirants are already seated in the midst of the Council of Elders of the Party.

Some delegates the Ghana News Agency spoke with expressed optimism for a peaceful process that would produce key figures to help in breaking the eight agenda.

In all, 30 contestants are eyeing the 10 slots of Vice Chairmanship, Secretary, treasurer, and organiser among others.

The incumbent Chairman, Mr Ndede Nsiah is going unopposed with most of the positions having more than one interested contender.

Mr. Micheal Appiah, a contender for the second vice chairman position told the GNA that he believed he was the right candidate to bring in more innovations to bring “joy” at the grassroots.
