Sunyani, (Bono), Dec. 11, GNA – Mr Mustapha Omar Copson, the Deputy Bono Regional Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said the President-elect, John Dramani Mahama will do everything possible to fulfil the party’s electioneering promises.
He said this would enhance the socio-economic livelihoods of the people, thereby alleviating the plight of many Ghanaians currently wallowing in abject poverty.
Mr Copson said with the choice of Mr Mahama, as the President-elect, all was set for the implementation of the party’s proposed 24-hour economy, and the Women’s Bank initiative, were some of the proposed policies that convinced the electorates to vote for the NDC in the Election 2024.
The implementation of these and other socio-economic interventions, as contained in the NDC Election 2024 political party manifesto would bounce back and stabilise the economic for progressive growth and development.
“In fact, John Mahama’s brilliant performance in the coming years will shock Ghanaians and collapse the New Patriotic Party,” Mr Copson told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in a post-election victory interview in Sunyani.
He indicated that the Mr Mahama’s landslide victory was a clear indication that the populace were truly fed-up with the NPP’s poor administration and therefore required an NDC government to resuscitate the economy, thereby alleviate their plight.
“We assure Ghanaians that they will never regret the decision they have taken because Mr Mahama’s come back is for progressive development and economic emancipation”, Mr Copson stated.
Mr Copson expressed appreciation to Ghanaians, especially the chiefs and people of the Bono Region for the confidence reposed in Mr Mahama, and the NDC Member of Parliament-elect, assuring that “there is no way we are going to disappoint you”.
