Tel Aviv, Nov 30, (dpa/GNA) – Dozens of people have been killed in the latest Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian reports on Saturday.
Eight people were killed in an Israeli airstrike near the southern city of Khan Younis, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported, citing medical sources.
In addition, five Palestinians were killed in an attack on a car near the city. They were said to include three employees of the aid organization, World Central Kitchen (WCK).
The organization did not initially comment on the report.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that they had attacked a terrorist at the location, who had been involved in the massacre by Hamas militants in Israel on October 7, 2023, which triggered the Gaza war.
According to the military, it was investigating reports that the man could have been a WCK employee.
WAFA reported 14 further deaths in Israeli attacks in Gaza City in the north of the strip.
The IDF said it was investigating the reports, which could not be independently verified.
