Betway inks sponsorship deal with GFA for Women’s Premier League

Accra, Feb. 2, GNA – Ghana’s leading online betting and gaming brand, Betway Ghana, has inked a sponsorship deal with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for the Ghana Women’s Premier League (WPL).

Per the deal, Betway is recognized as the Development Partner of the WPL.

As Development Partners, Betway would deliver a mix of solutions that would focus on supporting the teams and helping amplify the Women’s League in Ghana.

Key amongst these benefits include a season-long mentorship programme with local and international resources for officials of the clubs under the auspices of Betway Ghana.

Betway would also be providing training equipment for participating clubs, as well as amplified coverage of the league in collaboration with the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG).

According to Betway, this is to draw the much-needed attention for activities of the Women’s league

The General Secretary of the GFA, (Esq.) Prosper Harrison Addo expressed his excitement for the sponsorship and believes it will bring competition and develop the women’s league.
